Matisse Fish Bowl

2nd Graders studied the work of french artist Henri Matisse and his famous “The Goldfish Bowl” painting. We discussed what a still life & an interior painting is, and created our own. Students created a room with a fish bowl on a table. We talked about space in rooms and how objects that are farther away are smaller, and close up are larger. So far so good!
