SNA 2016 Panther Prowl

We started our Panther Prowl day with our annual Derby Parade! Below are the Grades K-5 Hat Winners and Grades 6-8 Float Winners.

After the parade we went outside for different games and our first ever “Color Prowl” the kids (and teachers) all had a blast!

NAEA 2016 – Chicago!

Hard to believe that another NAEA Convention has come and gone! It always comes at the best time of the year, right when I need a boost to finish out the school year. It’s refreshing to collaborate with thousands of other creative, passionate art teachers. I came back with some great ideas and lessons. Thank you to all of the wonderful presenters sharing your ideas!

My husband Wes and our 5 month old Olivia tagged along for the trip and we were able to experience Chicago together…a weekend was not long enough to enjoy all that Chicago has to offer. Here are some of the highlights!

Until next time Chi-town!

St. Patrick’s Day!

Congrats to 4th grade student Sabina who won the Grand Prize with her entry into the Louisville St. Patrick Coloring contest. She and her family got to ride in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Ancient Order of Hibernian’s Trolley and also attended a special Mass at St. Louis Bertrand on Saturday. Congratulations Sabina!
